Physical therapy:

Physiotherapy is a discipline that aims to work with the treating veterinarian to help achieve a lasting cure - with manual techniques, special active exercises. Without physiotherapy, a lasting recovery without residual pain is almost impossible. Exercises and techniques are always tailored to the specific pet.

Physiotherapy treatments involve manual movements, pressure and adjustments by the Physiotherapist to relieve pain in the muscles, joints, bones and nerves.

Other physiotherapy treatments may include manual therapy, mechanotherapy, active and passive stretching, mobilisation, therapeutic massage, lymphatic massage, thermotherapy, etc. You can read more about these under the menu item of the respective service!
