I am N\u00f3ra T\u00f3th, dog physiotherapist, habilitation dog trainer<\/strong>. Since I was a small child, we have always had four-legged family members, so I have had plenty of opportunity to learn about the body language and lifestyle of dogs and cats.<\/p>\n

I worked as an outpatient and operating room assistant at the University of Veterinary Medicine Hospital for 6 years. This gave me an insight into different surgical techniques, which allowed me to better assess the rehabilitation process after surgery, as well as experience in outpatient care (accidents, fractures, first aid, etc.). Volvo was brought in during an overnight emergency and I adopted him almost immediately. He suffered a severe pelvic and elbow fracture in a car accident, unfortunately we had little time together due to his heart condition. He started me on the road to learning about musculoskeletal rehabilitation for dogs.<\/p>\n

In 2013 I completed the training of the Hungarian Pet Physiotherapy Society as a dog physiotherapist. It is very important for me to keep up to date, so I try to participate as often as possible in various training courses, for example on rehabilitation or webinars on canine communication.<\/p>\n

I have three dogs:<\/p>\n

Bubbles, the therapy assistance dog, with whom we had little time to work due to a long illness. So he now spends time with children, the disabled and the elderly only rarely and sparingly.<\/p>\n

Bizsu and I are participating in the Senior Family Dog Programme's dementia research, as he is 15 years old and living the happy retirement years of old age. We are actively involved in dementia habilitation, always with the help of the right professional.<\/p>\n

Vegas is an 11 year old bull terrier mix who has given me lots of experience in dog allergies, gut problems, instinct management and behavioural therapy, and we have also tried our luck at several dog sports.<\/p>\n

It is important to me to always gradually introduce my patients to physiotherapy tools and exercises in ways that are appropriate to the dog's communication and internal state.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

I am Edina Bir\u00f3, dog physiotherapist and veterinary assistant<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Since I was a child, my love for animals has been a part of my life and I always knew I wanted to help them.<\/p>\n

Since 2019, I have been working as a senior assistant in one of the country's best-equipped, busy animal hospitals, operating as a surgical and diagnostic centre. In my work, I see a lot of orthopaedic and surgical cases and follow the recovery process of small animals.<\/p>\n

I completed my training as a canine physiotherapist at the Vetrehab training institute with excellent results and then joined the Pet Mobility Team. During my studies I was constantly visiting Pet Mobility to meet as many cases as possible.<\/p>\n

My experience as a veterinary assistant has given me the professional knowledge that is essential for effective rehabilitation. I am particularly passionate about the treatment of musculoskeletal problems and spinal injuries, as my own dogs' history is closely linked to this.<\/p>\n

I am currently the owner of 3 dachshunds.<\/p>\n

Life is always challenging, and in the summer of 2023, my rescued dachshund Amyke became paralysed. That was when I really got to know the profession of physiotherapist. Amy taught me the importance of patience and that you can achieve anything if you are diligent and persistent. Amy is on her own after 1.5 years, it's been a long and bumpy road but it's been worth every minute. I am so grateful to life for being a part of her recovery.<\/p>\n

My 16-year-old dog Chutak has a number of orthopaedic problems in old age, and I use this as an example to raise awareness of the importance of prevention so that our little pets can live as pain-free a life as possible in old age.<\/p>\n

My newest puppy Jasper is a real little energy bomb. Our relationship didn't start off easy, he has had his social difficulties and I have plenty of fear aggression to deal with, but I believe I can get the best out of him. He was discharged because he was paralysed and I started his rehabilitation, which is ongoing. So life forged us together and then I adopted him.<\/p>\n

They inspired me to understand the importance of physiotherapy on a deeper level and to help other owners find hope and solutions. Like them, I want to give my patients the experience of happy and pain-free movement so they can live a fulfilling life.
\nAnd as an owner, I know exactly how difficult and challenging it can be to rehabilitate a sick animal, which is perhaps why I can empathise even more with the owners who come to me.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

M\u00e1r gyerekkoromban tudtam, hogy az \u00e1llatokkal szeretn\u00e9k foglalkozni. Ez\u00e9rt a gimn\u00e1zium ut\u00e1n az ELTE biol\u00f3gia szak\u00e1n folytattam tanulm\u00e1nyaimat.<\/p>\n

Az egyetem elv\u00e9gz\u00e9s\u00e9t k\u00f6vet\u0151en 2016-ban elv\u00e9geztem a T\u00c1PIS Oktat\u00e1si K\u00f6zpont \u00e1llatorvosi asszisztens k\u00e9pz\u00e9s\u00e9t, majd h\u00e9t \u00e9ven kereszt\u00fcl az \u00c1llatorvostudom\u00e1nyi Egyetemen dolgoztam ambul\u00e1ns \u00e9s radiol\u00f3giai asszisztensk\u00e9nt. Ez id\u0151 alatt sz\u00e1mos ortop\u00e9diai \u00e9s neurol\u00f3giai beteggel tal\u00e1lkoztam, \u00e9s ekkor fogalmaz\u00f3dott meg bennem, hogy nemcsak a diagnosztik\u00e1ban, hanem a rehabilit\u00e1ci\u00f3ban is szeretn\u00e9k akt\u00edv szerepet v\u00e1llalni.<\/p>\n

Ennek hat\u00e1s\u00e1ra 2024-ben elkezdtem a Vetrehab Magyarorsz\u00e1g kutya-fizioterapeuta k\u00e9pz\u00e9s\u00e9t, ahol 2025-ben kit\u0171n\u0151 eredm\u00e9nnyel szereztem k\u00e9pes\u00edt\u00e9st. Az\u00f3ta az \u00e1llatorvosi asszisztensi munk\u00e1m mellett kutya-fizioterapeutak\u00e9nt is dolgozom.<\/p>\n

A szakmai fejl\u0151d\u00e9st kiemelten fontosnak tartom, ez\u00e9rt folyamatosan k\u00e9pzem magam, \u00e9s igyekszem l\u00e9p\u00e9st tartani a leg\u00fajabb rehabilit\u00e1ci\u00f3s m\u00f3dszerekkel, legyen sz\u00f3 \u00faj tornagyakorlatokr\u00f3l, motiv\u00e1ci\u00f3s technik\u00e1kr\u00f3l vagy fizikoter\u00e1pi\u00e1s eszk\u00f6z\u00f6kr\u0151l. Sz\u00edv\u00fcgyem az id\u0151s kuty\u00e1k \u00e1llapot fenntart\u00e1sa, a neurol\u00f3giai k\u00f3rk\u00e9pek rehabilit\u00e1ci\u00f3ja, valamint a sportkuty\u00e1k felk\u00e9sz\u00edt\u00e9se \u00e9s s\u00e9r\u00fcl\u00e9sek megel\u0151z\u00e9se.<\/p>\n

K\u00e9s\u0151bb m\u00e1r tudatosan sportc\u00e9lra v\u00e1lasztottam kuty\u00e1t, \u00edgy 2015-ben lettem Kacat, egy mudi gazd\u00e1ja. Jelenleg Merid\u00e1val, a border collie-val versenyzem agilityben, \u00e9s a sok\u00e9ves versenyz\u0151i tapasztalatnak k\u00f6sz\u00f6nhet\u0151en ma m\u00e1r saj\u00e1t agility csapatot is edzek.<\/p>\n

I am Kriszti Debreceni, dog physiotherapist and Hoopers instructor<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

I've been an animal lover since childhood, and I've tried countless sports with my dogs over the past ten years.<\/p>\n

In 2016, my dog Zo\u00e9 came into my life, little did I know that she would change my life and determine my future career choice. The time I spent with her made me realise the importance of early detection of musculoskeletal problems and early rehabilitation, as a successful surgery is no guarantee of a full recovery.<\/p>\n

In the summer of 2021 I completed the dog physiotherapist training course of the Therapy for Animals Foundation. The knowledge I have acquired is important and keeping it fresh is essential in today's world, so I am constantly training to ensure that our patients are provided with up-to-date knowledge.<\/p>\n

My personal goal is to promote preventive exercise and rehabilitation of elderly patients in dogs.<\/p>\n

Besides physiotherapy, I also train dogs; I give group obedience training and Hoopers training (remote control). I am also currently working with my vizslam, Zhiv\u00e1ny, to promote Hoopers.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

After a long preparation and a lot of work, the Pet Mobility Pet Physiotherapy Centre started accepting pets looking for rehabilitation, prevention and musculoskeletal development in the summer of 2023. Our centre is located in South Buda, in the XXII district, close to Campona and the Sculpture Park. Our team, in collaboration with the Orthopedic Surgery and Imaging Diagnostic background of the Budat\u00e9t\u00e9ny Animal Hospital, provides the most comprehensive and professional physiotherapy care possible.<\/p>\n

Our aim was to create a Physiotherapy Centre with all the tools and instruments to help you heal in a complete way. Thus, we can complement manual treatments with hydrotherapy, laser therapy, ultrasound therapy, light therapy, electrotherapy, magnetotherapy and other tools to aid movement and development.<\/p>\n

In addition to musculoskeletal rehabilitation, we consider it important to promote preventive gymnastics and to support the fitness of sport and working dogs! In addition to physiotherapy treatments, other skill and dexterity building sessions such as Hoopers, dog fitness, and small group behavioural therapy and socialisation sessions are an important part of our services!<\/p>\n

We believe that it is essential for healing that the treatment is not only focused on the area that is damaged or needs improvement, but also on the whole body and the pet's habitus. We try to incorporate this holistic approach in all our therapy sessions. We have also focused on this belief system in the creation of our logo, with the representation of the circle.<\/p>\n

It is important to us that our Patients feel as safe and comfortable as possible during physiotherapy, so all our Physiotherapists make it a point to be \"Fear Free\" qualified!<\/p>\n

All members of our team are committed to the love of pets, have several years of experience as veterinary assistants, are actively training and regularly participate in various dog sporting events and competitions.<\/p>\n
