What is HOOPERS?

Hoopers, or remote control, is a relatively new sport in our country, but it is growing in popularity. Hoopers is similar to agility, but it has no jumping obstacles or tight turns, so it is much safer for dogs of all ages, breeds and sizes. It is also an ideal pastime for short-legged (dachshund-shaped) dogs, as it requires minimal physical exertion and offers a new sport for dogs who cannot jump due to previous injury.

The hoopers develops the coordination between the handler and the dog. During the foundation lessons, the handler gradually learns to control the dog remotely on the course using voice and body signals. The combination of courses is endless, making it the perfect challenge for everyone!
